'On the Mend' Postpartum Healing Herbal Sitz Bath

This postpartum healing herbal sitz bath is to be used topically either in bath form or can be brewed and placed on pads and frozen for a pain relieving ice pack for “down there” at a later date after baby has arrived. When brewing, you follow the directions that are on the back of the package just as if you were brewing tea. Sift infused water through a fine mesh sieve or cheese cloth or tea towel and place in bathtub to soak post labor or place infused water on postpartum pads to freeze and create a “padsicle” for external healing. The wound healing herbs of comfrey leaf, plantain leaf, yarrow flower, calendula, uva ursi, shepherds purse, lavender and epsom salt will help in assisting the healing process in any topical wounds. As always, talk with your midwife or medical practitioner to make sure this blend is right for you and your unique situation.

How do I make my tea?

How much tea is in each bag?
Each bag has a different weight, as the density of the herbs are subject to change.
We have put approximately one month's worth of tea in each bag.
You can make your tea last longer by reusing the herbs for a second infusion.
Each bag contains instructions on how to make that specific blend.
Return Policy?
Due to the perishable nature of the items, all sales are final.
How long until I get my tea?
Teas will take 7-14business daysfor the tea to ship to you. This means that if there is alargerestock, it may take close to three weeks to receive your tea. However, that's the longest it should ever take to receive your tea, unless their is a post office issue.
Are the teas gluten free/pregnancy safe?
Our teas are handcrafted with natural organic ingredients, but they are not certified gluten-free or specifically tested for pregnancy safety. As a small business, we do not have the capacity to offer such certifications.
